For rural communities, complex ideas about health, nutrition, and dignity can’t be taught through text—they must be seen and felt. World Vision Bangladesh needed culturally rooted visual learning tools that could communicate life-changing messages where words alone fell short.
The Need
World Vision required a visual communication platform that could overcome literacy barriers and make training content for
ultra-poor families memorable and transformative.

The Solution
We created a suite of visual learning and communication tools that help World Vision deliver training and behavior-change messaging to ultra-poor rural families. Using culturally grounded storytelling, we produced custom illustrations depicting familiar rural scenarios across nutrition, healthcare, education, and dignity—making abstract concepts simple, relatable, and memorable. Portable flipcharts were designed for field use anywhere, combining sequential visuals with minimal text to guide structured training sessions. Durable materials and lightweight formats allow field workers to run engaging, high-impact sessions in community spaces without equipment.
We also produced animations and drama videos that simplify complex topics—disease transmission, hygiene practices, agricultural methods, and social issues such as child marriage or domestic violence—making them accessible even for low-literacy audiences. Additional behavior-change materials support families in improving nutrition, healthcare adherence, learning habits, and self-advocacy. Together, these tools have delivered measurable impact, including 15,000+ created artworks and animations and supporting 300+ confidence-building sessions that enhanced learning and strengthened positive behavior adoption in rural communities.
