The Need

CCDB needed a digital platform to replace paper-based processes, ensure accurate data collection, and create a reliable monitoring and evaluation framework.

The Solution

We approached CCDB’s unique monitoring and evaluation platform with a usability first design process. User research sessions informed wireframes and mockups that were tested and refined to suit low bandwidth environments and varying user skill levels. The final design became the foundation for software development, ensuring that interfaces remained lightweight and accessible across rural field contexts.
The system was developed as a Microsoft .NET web application with an Angular frontend and MS SQL Server database. A companion Android application enabled field level survey and data collection. To support users with limited computer skills, we also created detailed tutorial videos that guided them through essential workflows and reduced training overhead.
