The Need

Kaz Software partnered with New York–based startup P1ston, Inc. to address one of the toughest challenges in supply chain management: visibility and workflow efficiency for small- to medium-sized (SMB) manufacturers and distributors.

Like large enterprises, SMBs spend millions on accounting systems and ERPs. Yet their supply chains still collapse without the support of spreadsheets and email. For most SMBs, there was no cost-effective platform to track open order processes. Without such visibility, companies faced production shortages, missed on-time deliveries (OTD), and wasted hours of manual labor.

For these manufacturers and distributors, the entire inbound order process was a recurring nightmare. P1ston identified this gap and set out to build a solution that could automate workflows, provide real-time supply chain visibility, and replace fragmented manual systems.

The Solution

We helped P1ston build a multi tenant SaaS platform that gives buyers and suppliers real time visibility into purchase orders and workflow status. The system provides centralized information sharing, streamlined sourcing communication, and configurable tracking features that improve operational control throughout the supply chain. An open API and pre-built integrations with Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, EstiTrack, and QuickBooks allow the platform to connect easily with existing ERP systems, enabling scalable and efficient supply chain operations for manufacturers and distributors.
The platform supports faster communication, lower operating costs, and improved decision making through automated workflows and unified visibility. Manufacturers and distributors can monitor supply chain activity, stay informed, and coordinate tasks more effectively. With a multi tenant architecture delivered as SaaS, the system supports multiple organizations while maintaining secure data separation and operational flexibility.
